of "smart glass" in your conservatory
 RE-FLEX™
is the next generation of conservatory roof glass designed specifically
for the British weather. This "smart glass" or "solar control glass" as it
is more commonly known, uses an invisible metallic coating which is
applied to the glass using the latest coating technology.
- 50% Light transmission on blue tint option,

- 95% UV rejection protects furniture and fabrics.
Research has shown that 80% of conservatory owners will spend over
£1000 on internal blinds within eighteen months of purchasing a
conservatory. A typical south facing installation during summer can
reach temperatures above 45°C, making the conservatory a true hot house!
However, with RE-FLEX™ high performance sealed units installed in your
conservatory, the internal temperature is reduced by 10°-15°C, allowing
your conservatory to be enjoyed for more hours every day.
 The special
"nano" coating that RE-FLEX™ sealed units feature is totally unique.
This solar control glass coating keeps out up to 75% of solar heat. With
a maximum light transmission of up to 70% on the clear option, RE-FLEX™
retains 50% more heat than a normal double glazed unit, reducing both
heating and air conditioning costs.
The subtle blue tint option reduces the sun's glare by 44%, giving the
room a "feel good" factor and lifting the overall feel of the day.
Harmful UV transmission is cut by up to 95% eliminating sun damage to
furniture and fabrics. These key features make RE-FLEX™ solar control
glass a key feature of any conservatory.
RE-FLEX™ glass used in both the conservatory roof and side
frames (neutral clear option for maximum light transmittance)
tackles the twin problems of overheating in summer and keeping
warm in winter.
Easy-Clean surface
technology
The outside of RE-FLEX™ glass units are coated with a high tech polymer
nano film to repel dirt and water. This marine grade coating reduces the
need for cleaning by 70% and is perfect for hard to reach conservatory
roofing. The glass coating protects from lime scale, algae, fungus and
stubborn dirt keeping the glass looking fresher for longer.

An invisible metallic coating on the inner surface of the
external pane reduces the solar heat energy that can enter the
conservatory. Solar heat transfer is reduced by up to 75%
compared to a standard double glazed unit. The subtle light blue
tint reduces glare by up to 44% but still ensures good light
transmission for both visual and thermal comfort. |

The heat loss co-efficient is reduced to 0.9 W/m2.K on RE-FLEX™+
with argon gas. This low U-Value is equivalent to a cavity brick
wall and offers excellent insulation properties for big savings
on winter heating. Because the loss of heat from inside to
outside is reduced, it is much easier to keep the climate
indoors at an even temperature making savings on summer air
conditioning.

An "easy-clean" external surface treatment to the glass reduces
the need for cleaning and makes dirt and bird mess easy to
remove. The hydrophobic polymer coating promotes water run off
which washes dirt and mess away with the rain, keeping the glass
looking fresher. Developed for marine applications this coating
is ideal for conservatory roofs where access for cleaning is
difficult. |

The latest duel seal high performance manufacturing techniques

extended warranty against unit seal failure. Every glass roof
comes complete with after care instructions for the home owner
