The groundbreaking PVC vertically sliding sash window is a design that offers egress to the requirements of Part B of the Building Regulations. Its innovative engineering means much smaller PVC vertically sliding sash windows can now be used as escape windows for the first time, with windows just 900mm high complying with the legislation.

Sheerframe windows were amongst the first uPVC windows to become lead-free. Lead additives were phased out as a precautionary measure, and replaced with calcium organic stabilisers.
